Introducing the IconiK slimline bifold door from Alu-tec
AluK have launched their slimmest bifold door system to date and our production team at Alu-tec are already very familiar with them, having made
nine for AluK themselves.
The IconiK is a stylish, minimalistic door design with less frame than other bifolds. Sightlines of just 87mm are achieved with the IconiK slim sash, bringing more light into the home from the larger glazing areas. The IconiK standard sash is also available as an option.
Available in both open in and open out configurations with a maximum 1200mm x 2400mm panels sizes, the Iconik also features quick and easy installation features like the popular Quik ClipTM glazing bead and a range of sub-cills that makes it easier to install in almost any property.
The outer frame and components can also be used to produce single and double doors with simply a change of sash, which means the exterior of the home can have the same matching slim sightlines.
The IconiK bifold doors meets the required Part L building regulations with U Values of 1.3 W/m2K when using double glazing with a centre pane value of 1.0, or if installing with triple glazed units you could achieve a U value of 1.0 W/m2K.
